This FD-style upper intake manifold is designed to bolt directly to the FC RX-7 lower intake manifold, making it a popular upgrade for FC 13B engines. By utilising the improved intake design from the later FD RX-7, this manifold provides better airflow compared to the factory FC upper manifold, helping support increased horsepower in performance applications.
One of the main advantages of this setup is the cleaner engine bay layout it creates. The design allows additional space beneath the manifold, giving builders the option to mount ignition coils or other components neatly out of sight, resulting in a far more streamlined engine setup.

This kit combines the proven Bosch 82mm drive-by-wire throttle body with a billet adaptor and 3” Power Clamp connection, providing a clean and reliable solution for modern DBW throttle control on high-performance rotary and custom engine builds.
At the centre of the kit is the genuine Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body, widely trusted in motorsport and OEM applications for its reliability and precise control. To simplify installation, the kit includes a CNC machined billet adaptor designed to transition the Bosch DBW throttle body to a 3” inlet.
To complete the setup, a weld-on Power Clamp connection is included, allowing for a strong, leak-free and easily serviceable intake connection. This style of clamp is commonly used in performance applications where secure sealing and quick removal are important.
